6 Interesting Tools For Enterprise Social Network
In the last year, the adoption of enterprise social networking tools by businesses has increased significantly to facilitate collaboration and promote exchange of information among employees. The success and wide spread of Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter is accelerating this phenomenon and gradually bringing more and more companies to experiment with new methods of communication based of these instruments of social interaction.
Just to cite a few numbers, Yammer, one of the most popular tools for enterprise social network (which closely resembles in appearance and features the most popular Facebook), is adopted by more than 100,000 companies worldwide scale, including some of the caliber of Deloitte, AMD, eBay and Fox.
According to a Gartner research “by 2014, social networking services will replace e-mail as the primary vehicle for interpersonal communications for 20 percent of business users.”
In addition to the above mentioned Yammer, there are several tools circulating on the Internet to implement a social network within your company intranet in a simple and immediate way. I must point out:
- SocialText
- Socialcast
- Teambuzz
- Socialwork
- Jive
